Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Cancellations

By Tenant:

Tenants can cancel their rent or token payment before it has been processed and transferred to the landlord. Once the payment has been processed, cancellation requests will not be entertained.

By Landlord:

If a landlord cancels the agreement or transaction before receiving the rent or token amount, tenants may request a refund, subject to the terms outlined below.

Platform Fee:

Platform fees are non-refundable once the transaction has been initiated, as these cover the cost of our service.

2. Refunds

Rent Refund:

In the event of a valid cancellation by the tenant before the rent has been transferred to the landlord, a refund of the rent will be processed. However, the platform fee will be deducted from the refund.

Token Refund:

If a tenant cancels the transaction and the token amount has not yet been transferred to the landlord, the token amount will be refunded minus the platform fee.

Conditions for Refund:

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7-10 business days. However, CirclePe is not responsible for delays caused by the bank or payment gateway.

3. Exceptions

Refunds will not be provided in the case of partial or full payment already being transferred to the landlord. Any disputes between the tenant and landlord related to the rent or token amount are beyond CirclePe’s liability once the payment is processed.
